WeatherTech Front Floor Mats Review - 2022 Ford Maverick- Video
Hi everyone. Aiden here, with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Weather Tech custom front auto floor mats on our 2022 Ford Maverick. Now these are gonna be, like I said a custom fit solution for the Ford Maverick. and you can see that all around the edges of the floor mat how it matches all the different contours of the vehicle and goes high up on the side walls to give us maximum protection, especially comparing this to the factory carpet mats those are gonna have a very similar footprint on the base and the front end, but the side walls on the carpet mats are pretty much nonexistent. Whereas here they're gonna be raised up quite a bit keeping all that dirt and debris contained on the mat, and not letting it spill over the sides. more

It's all one custom fit piece that stretches even over the hump to get you complete coverage of the second row of your CX-5. It's all laser measured, so it does fit the contours of our CX-5 super well. Nothing on the bottom that's gonna keep it in place, but because it is fit so well, the friction will keep it in place. It's really durable and it's a great solution for keeping the back row clean. more

WeatherTech HP Front Floor Mats Review - 2021 Mazda CX-5- Video
Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the WeatherTech HP floor mats for the 2021 Mazda CX-5. So right off the bat, we noticed that these are going to be a very tight fit, but for floor mats, that's gonna be a good thing. We noticed that these clips are kind of hard to get in place, but once you get them in place, it's gonna form a very, very tight seal up against the edges of your carpet. And I like that, because a lot of times with these preformed floor mats, you'll have loose edges everywhere, and that's not gonna be a good fit, because then, you're gonna have dirt and stuff getting behind it. As you can see here, there are going to be ridges and valleys that are gonna help direct all the water to this basin area, and this is going to collect most of the moisture so that you have time to be able to get it out of your car, and clean off the floor mat. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats, and how they fit on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. These are the cocoa version. These are just what we had available to us at the shop, but there is a black version as well if you want to fit your interior a little bit better. If you are in an area that maybe gets a decent amount of weather like rain and snow and you don't wanna track that into your vehicle, maybe you work a job like construction or something where you're tracking sand and mud in pretty frequently and you don't feel like getting that out all the time, these mats might be a good option for you. They're made of a rubberized thermoplastic so they're gonna hold up well to wear and tear, as well as the fact that how they're designed, especially having these high walls are gonna focus all that liquid and debris down into an area where it's not gonna be sliding around while you're driving. more

So this is gonna be a lot more durable, compared to the regular cloth style mats that you have in your vehicle, if you already have a cargo liner. Most vehicles do not have a custom fit cargo liner like this, designed for this entire cargo space. You also have the material of a high density tri extruded material, which means it has a dense core to hold up to your dirt, your snow, your water, and even some of your chemicals. Hey, it's Ethan here at Etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at how the WeatherTech second row auto floor mats fit in our 2022 Ram 2500. And then you might want to use some mats like these if you live in an area that's maybe more prone to weather, snow, anything like that, or you're traveling with your family, they're prone to spills or messes. As you can see, it has these ribs that go along the entire mat, and they will work to funnel any sort of fluids, debris, anything that you bring into there, not only away from your feet, but towards a centralized location where then you can just take the mats out, and clean them off if you need to. On the back side here, you can see that it also has these anti-skid nibs, that are gonna work to stick the mat in place, so it won't move around while you're getting in and out. And there's the anchor points on the back that will just connect into the inside of your vehicle when we install it, which we'll do now. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we'll be taking a look at how the WeatherTech Cargo Liner fits on the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. So if you wanna protect the interior of your vehicle from all kinds of cargo you may be carrying around or it's your cute little doggos or maybe you have food, groceries, mud, sandy items, 'cause you're going to the beach, a great way to protect that area is with a cargo liner. Now, WeatherTech has a lot of custom fit liners for your Jeep Grand Cherokee L, this is designed to go in the back with your seats folded up. It is custom fit designed to work with the contours of your vehicle, you really just pop it in, set it into place, ideally, have it out in the sun, so it is more molded through that area, but just like that, it fits. So with those grooved edges, this is gonna be great for those spills, because let's say you have a gallon of milk in the back, it topples over, with this rising up, then that puddle will just puddle in the center of your mat and not onto your interior. I'm a big fan of the material, this is made of HDTE, so that's High-Density Tri-Extruded material, and that means rather than your carpet, which just soaks up the stains, this is resistant. more

This mat is made of a rubberized plastic, so it's gonna be a great way to keep the inside of your car clean and free of water, mud, dirt, leaves, anything you might track into there. All you need to do is use this, and then once this gets dirty, you can just take it out, dump the items on the floor, and clean the actual mat itself rather than getting stains and things like that stuck in your vehicle. We found that the custom fit is pretty true for our Bronco Sport. It fits all the contours and everything around. more

All you basically have to do is take this out and dump it off, or you can dry this up a lot easier than you would be able to dry up liquids that soak into the interior of the vehicle. But the installation process is pretty straightforward, so let's go ahead and get this in our vehicle. Now, normally if we had mats in the way we'd probably get those out first, but in our case here we don't, so we'll just start by sliding this roughly into place where it needs to go. more

Howdy everyone, John here, and today we're taking a look at the E-Trailer Cargo Area Protector on our 2020 Ford Escape. Now this is gonna be a great choice if you like to have everything in your back area, cargo area protected, not only if you have your seats up but if you have them down. Now this comes in three sections and this first section is gonna be very useful if you happen to have your seats down, or let's say you just have your back hatch open, you are out going for a run or anything like that, and you wanna just protect the back of your legs and just have a nicer place to sit. It's really good for that. But let's say you're not using that, you can just take it off 'cause it's gonna have these hook and loop straps, and then you can easily just put it away for later. It's also going to protect all of the rest of your cargo area, including the back of your seats, which is really nice. more

Now, I always recommend having some kind of protection in the back cargo area, whether that be a cargo liner or some kind of protection gear. You never know what you may have, whether that be your equipment, just general cargo, or if you happen to have some furry friends, you don't wanna get all the hair and debris or any spills that may come with that. Now, this is also why I consider WeatherTech to be a good choice because it's custom fit, and it has these ridges. These ridges are gonna be nice because it's gonna hold not only things like let's say bags, a little bit of a placement better than if it was just a slick plastic. more

WeatherTech Front Floor Mats Review - 2020 Ford Escape- Video
John here, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at the WeatherTech Front Seat Floor Liners for our 2020 Ford Escape. This is gonna be a great choice if you want something that's gonna be a custom fit, gonna be able to keep all of your spills and drips along with any dust, dirt, debris that may be on your shoes away from the sides of your carpet and keeping it somewhere where you can clean it up. Now, floor liners are something that I always recommend a person get, especially whenever it comes to if you've got kids, if you've got furry friends and pets that you wanna take places, or you just happen to be a busy guy that has a lot of dirt and debris showing up on their boots. As you can see here, WeatherTech's one of the best that we can get, it's held right here with this little tab, so you know it's not gonna be moving around too much as it keeps it right there, gonna be a custom fit with our edge, and as you can see, it's almost like a bucket design where it's going to have the sides of the walls up a little bit more, so you're not gonna have to worry about any odd spills that go up onto the side of the carpet, which is something that I always worry about whenever I have any kind of floor liners is that is it going to protect everything, which as you can see here, it's going to do that. Along with the grooves, it's going to keep any liquid that you have in a specific area that's gonna make it easier to clean. And let's say that we have some water in here, some juice, something sticky, I'm gonna just take it out, spray it with a hose, and then I can just take it and put it back in, which makes it very easy for cleanup, especially if you have any kids that just happen to cause a mess whenever you're at home and ready to take care of it. more

Now, these are gonna be a custom fit, and you can see that all around the edges of the mat, they match the contours of the floorboard and get you the best coverage out there. Even back here where it might be covered up by our seat, but even if the seat's all the way back, we get some coverage there, around the edges, up high along the sides, and up into the foot well there, and it's gonna give you all weather protection. And right away, you can see that custom fit around the edges of the floor mat, how it kind of matches and contours different shapes of a vehicle, works around the front seat and doesn't conflict with anything. One thing I will point out though is that you probably notice some curling up on the edges, and especially like where my foot is right now, that's totally normal. Now, with these WeatherTech floor mats, there's the HP version and just the regular version, and the big difference between the two, they're both gonna be custom-fit, is that the HP doesn't have as high of sidewalls here, and it's gonna be made of a somewhat more flexible, thermoplastic material. Versus the more rigid structure of the regular WeatherTech custom-fits. So there's gonna be pros and cons to each and we'll go over them in the video here, but these are gonna be a nice floor mat for the Gladiator. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the WeatherTech custom fit second-row floor mats here on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator. Now there's two types of custom fit floor mats for the second row of your Gladiator. We've got the WeatherTech HPs that you see right here and the regular WeatherTechs, the big difference being that the HPs have a shorter side wall overall. It's still gonna be a raised side wall to help contain spills and messes but it's just not as aggressive as the regular WeatherTechs and it's going to be a slightly or heavier material, a more flexible thermoplastic material versus a more rigid structured material on the regular WeatherTechs. Now the difference between those two can really just come down to preference and just overall fit. more

While it doesn't require any trimming or anything to get a good fit, it also doesn't fully contour and match the exact shape of the floorboard and leaves some exposed areas compared to the full custom fit. WeatherTech 2nd Row Rear Floor Mat Review - 2020 Ford Escape- Video
Howdy everyone, John here, and today we're taking a look at our WeatherTech Second Row Custom Floor Liners on our 2020 Ford Escape. Now, this is gonna be a great choice if you want to protect the inside of your vehicle, especially if there happens to be any spills in the backseat, let's say your kiddos have some drinks, or you have a couple soccer players that get muddy shoes. This is gonna make sure that you protect not only your carpet, but just in general, your investment. Now, after having this in the backseat, I have noticed that while we haven't had a chance to leave it out in the heat to make it a little bit better when it comes to molding around the outside so it's a custom fit, there are a lot of areas that it isn't gripping the best. I haven't had this problem with the front row, so I think the WeatherTech for the front row is great, but I think after you left it out in the heat a little bit or your car got a little warmer, it would be better in this specific situation, 'cause I am not the biggest fan of how it's sitting out like this, or the fact that the lip doesn't go any farther in. Other than that, it's still made out of a really good material. more

These are gonna be a custom fit floor mat for the front seat. You've got a driver and passenger's side, and they're gonna provide some pretty good coverage for the floorboard area here, keeping it protected from moisture, dirt, grime, really, just any sort of elements during all seasons. Now, the big difference between the HP versions and the regular WeatherTech versions, you've got two options there, is that these HPs are gonna be more of a flexible rubberized thermoplastic, so they're a little bit more flexible, and they just don't have as good of coverage. more

This is gonna be a custom fit floor mat that's going to mold and shape to the floorboard on your CR-V here in the front seat, we've got one for the driver's and the passenger's side, and it's gonna give you a really nice all-season protection. The high side walls are gonna protect from spills or anything reaching out of the floor mat, and then everything extends really far up underneath the pedals, so if your feet are up there, you're not gonna be getting dirt or grime into your car. more

Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the WeatherTech custom fit front floor mats here on our 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. You can see that custom fit particularly around the sides and up underneath the pedals there, you can see we get really good coverage around the bottom where our feet are gonna be here and it's gonna keep things like water and moisture and just dirt, mud, any other mess we don't want to get in our vehicle contained. Now the driver's side here has the factory snaps that it used to help stay in place. So I can just pull that up and you can see there where it kind of snaps in. So it's gonna help keep it in place too whenever you're going down the road. more
